Collaborator Bios

Madhusudhan Venkadesan, Ph.D.: Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Yale University. He studied at IIT Madras (B.Tech.) and Cornell University (M.S., Ph.D.). His research is on the mechanics and control of how animals move. Problems being pursued include locomotion in animals, the geometry of joints, the topology of shape-changing skins, and the dynamics of muscle.
